Restaurant-Style "Bread" Sticks

When you're in the mood for Italian but want to skip out on the gluten, be sure the include these "bread" sticks on the dinner table. Dip them in your soup, put out a side of marinara sauce, or use them to scoop out the last bits of pasta sauce from your bowl. The possibilities are endless (and delicious).

Ingredients

CAULI-FLOUR by CAULIPOWER

cup water

Tbsp. olive oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1

Combine CAULI-FLOUR by CAULIPOWER baking mix and baking powder in mixing bowl

Step 2

Stir in water and olive oil. Mix until a stiff dough is formed and let rest 15 minutes

Step 3

Divide dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each to form a log 7 x 1/2-inch

Step 4

Place logs on parchment paper-lined baking sheet OR oiled baking sheet. Cover with another sheet of parchment paper OR waxed paper, and let rise at room temperature 1 hour

Step 5

Preheat oven to 450°F

Step 6

Brush top of sticks with garlic butter, OR sprinkle with shredded cheese, herbs or seeds before baking, if desired

Step 7

Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until bread sticks are golden brown

Step 8

Cool on pan on wire rack 5 minutes. Serve warm
