We've done the IMPASTABLE
Ever since we launched our cauliflower crust pizzas in 2017, our CAULIPOWER crew continues to ask “what’s next?,” inspiring us to find innovative ways to use our favorite veggie. We’re happy to report that, once again, we’ve done the IMPASTABLE!
After months of development, countless early-morning virtual meetings with Italy and hundreds of taste tests (that was the fun part!), we came up with something magiCAUL. Say hello - or rather, buongiorno - to our NEWEST innovation: frozen cauliflower pasta that looks, cooks and truly tastes like delicious, fresh pasta.
As with all CAULIPOWER products, we needed to ensure that our new plant-based pasta delivered on three key promises before putting it out into the world:
1) Nutritionals that WOW!
Our new Linguine and Pappardelle are high in fiber, gluten-free always, and lovingly made with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. And with only 230 calories per uncooked serving, we are the LOWEST calorie of ANY pasta in the grocery store today whether dry, refrigerated, or frozen.
2) Easy Peasy Cauli-Squeezy
Craving pasta? In just THREE minutes our frozen cauliflower pasta is ready-to-eat. So whether you’re looking for a quick and tasty weeknight dinner or whipping something up for that fancy night in, we’ve got you covered.
3) Taste. Taste. Taste.
When we decided to make a veggie-based pasta, we knew one thing was for sure: It needed to look, cook, and taste like fresh pasta. But don’t take our word for it. We went to the pasta capital of the world - Rome, Italy - and really put our new cauliflower pasta to the test with people who know pasta best: Italians! How did they react when we revealed the big secret? Watch the video to find out:
We know what you must be thinking: where can I get some? The good news is you won’t have to travel a MILAN miles to find it. Click here and find them in a freezer aisle near you, or order a six-pack from Amazon! Then set the table, open up a bottle of Chianti, and explore the PASTAbilities...
