Imagine Middle East meets Mediterranean, on a pizza that’s nutritious. Sound too good to be true? It’s not! This asparagus pizza begins with homemade walnut pesto and gets a zesty dusting of chili flakes and sumac. Inventive, inviting *and* exciting!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cauliflower Pizza Crusts
  • 1 cup goat cheese
  • 10 - 12 asparagus
  • 1 large hot chili pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sumac
  • 1 large bunch of fresh basil
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/3 cup of hemp hearts
  • handful walnuts (soaked in warm water overnight)
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup of extra-virgin olive oil
  • sea salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In the meantime, blend basil, walnuts, avocado, hemp hearts, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt & pepper to make the pesto sauce. 
  3. Remove your CAULIPOWER pizza crust from the box and the plastic wrapping and place on a clean surface.
  4. Spread the pesto sauce on the pizza crust and top with all other ingredients.
  5. Place pizza in the oven and bake for 13-15 minutes.
  6. Remove and serve hot.
