Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • kosher salt
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cheese sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream or greek yogurt
  • 2 cups lettuce, shredded
  • 2 cups cheese blend, shredded (cheddar and monterey jack recommended)
  • 2 cups salsa or diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. Remove CAULIPOWER Cauliflower Tortillas from freezer and let thaw.
  2. Preheat oven to 375F or heat 1 inch of oil in skillet on medium heat.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Combine ground beef, spices, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 6 minutes and drain.
  4. If baking, cook tortillas on a non-stick baking pan for 2-3 min on each side, or until desired crispiness is reached. If frying, place tortillas in oil for 15 seconds, flip and cook for another 15 seconds, remove from oil, and let harden.
  5. Once tostada shells are made, layer each one with cooked ground beef, sour cream or yogurt, shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, salsa, and cheese sauce.
  6. Attempt to stack or (for an easier eating experience), serve each one separately!
 Close
