Simple Pasta Bolognese

Ingredients

  • 1 package Pappardelle Cauliflower Pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup carrots, grated
  • 1 cup celery, minced
  • 1 cup onions, finely minced
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 12.5 oz marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • parmesan, for garnish

Cooking Instructions

  1. Finely chop onions, celery, and carrots. Sauté vegetables in olive oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the veggies are softened.
  2. Add ground beef and pork to the pot with vegetables and cook until meat is cooked through and browned, about 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, heavy cream, salt and pepper.
  4. Bring a pot of water to a boil, and add CAULIPOWER Cauliflower Pappardelle to boiling water. Stir to loosen. Cook for 3 minutes, then drain the water.
  5. Serve the Bolognese sauce over the CAULIPOWER Cauliflower Pappardelle, and top with fresh grated parmesan!
